White Label & Custom Branding

Present Siteligent under your own brand across the WordPress Connector, client communications, and reports.

Written by Rohini

Siteligent's White Label features are designed for agencies, freelancers, and managed service providers who want their clients to see a consistent branded experience rather than Siteligent branding.

You can configure branding at the Team level for a consistent default across your sites, and use site-level overrides when a particular client needs their own branding.

How White Labeling Works

Siteligent provides two levels of branding configuration.

Team-Level Branding

Your Team-level White Label settings provide the default branding for the sites connected to your Team. This allows you to establish a consistent agency identity across your managed websites, including your:

  • Agency or business name

  • Logo

  • Support email

  • Support URL

  • Other Connector branding

Sites use these settings by default unless a site-specific override is enabled.

Site-Level Branding

If you manage websites for different clients, you can give an individual site its own branding.

For example, your agency can use your own branding across most sites while a specific client's WordPress dashboard uses that client's name, logo, and support details. When a site-level override is enabled, it takes precedence for that site. If the override is disabled or removed, the site falls back to your Team-level branding.

Customize the WordPress Connector

White Label settings let you customize how the Siteligent Connector appears inside your clients' WordPress admin area.

Depending on your configuration, you can customize:

  • Plugin Name: Replace Siteligent Connect with your own preferred plugin name. For example: Agency Portal Connect / MyCompany Hub. The customized name appears in the WordPress Plugins list.

  • Plugin Description: Replace the default plugin description with your own description, instructions, or support information.

  • Plugin Author and Author URL: Replace the Siteligent author information with your agency or company name and website.

  • Plugin URL: Set the plugin information link to point to your own documentation, website, or client portal.

  • Custom Logo: Add your own logo for the Connector. Siteligent requires the logo to use a secure https:// URL and a transparent PNG file.

  • Support Email and Support URL: Configure your own support contact details. When clients use the relevant help or support links in WordPress, they can be directed to your support email address or helpdesk instead of Siteligent.

  • Replace Mentions: Enable Replace Mentions to remove remaining Siteligent references from supported WordPress admin areas, notifications, and help notices. This helps maintain a consistent branded experience for your clients.

  • Custom Prefix: Set a custom developer prefix for supported backend database tables or code assets, helping keep your agency's developer branding consistent.

Set a Site-Level White Label Override

To use different branding for a specific client site:

  1. Open My Sites in your Siteligent Dashboard.

  2. Select the website you want to customize.

  3. Go to Settings → White Label.

  4. Enable Override Enabled.

  5. Enter the client's branding details.

  6. Click Save Settings.

The site-specific settings are then pushed to the Siteligent Connector on the connected WordPress site.

Custom Sending Email & Domain Verification

White labeling also applies to the email address used to send client reports. Instead of reports being sent from a Siteligent address such as [email protected], you can add your own email address as the sender.

For example:[email protected]

Verify Your Domain

Before using your own email address, you need to verify the domain it belongs to. Siteligent provides a DNS record that you need to add to your domain's DNS settings. Once the record is added, Siteligent verifies that you own the domain.

After verification, your branded email address can be used to send your client reports. This means your clients receive reports directly from your email address, keeping the reporting experience consistent with your agency's brand.

Branded Client Reports

Siteligent can also generate branded website performance and health reports for your clients.

With White Labeling enabled, reports can use your:

  • Agency name

  • Custom logo

  • Brand colors

Siteligent branding can also be removed from supported report content so the report is presented as part of your own service.

Automated Report Delivery

Branded reports can be scheduled for automatic delivery to clients on a weekly or monthly basis.

When custom custom email sender is configured, these reports can be delivered using your configured sending domain, keeping the reporting experience consistent with your agency brand.
