Set Up Two-Factor Authentication

Add an extra layer of security to your Siteligent account with an authenticator app and recovery codes.

Written by Rohini

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Siteligent account. Once enabled, you'll need both your password and a temporary verification code from your authenticator app when signing in.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication

  1. Open your Profile settings.

  2. Go to Security → Two-Factor Authentication.

  3. Select Authenticator App.

  4. Open an authenticator app on your phone.

  5. Scan the QR code shown in Siteligent.

  6. If you can't scan the QR code, enter the secret key manually.

  7. Enter the six-digit code generated by your authenticator app.

  8. Click Enable 2FA.

Siteligent uses standard TOTP-based authentication, so you can use a compatible authenticator app of your choice.

Save Your Recovery Codes

After enabling 2FA, Siteligent provides recovery codes.

Store these codes somewhere secure, such as a password manager or another safe offline location. They can be used if you lose access to your authenticator device.

Important: Treat recovery codes like your password. Don't share them with anyone.
